I found out long time ago a lot of young people can't stand non color films and movies.
Something (ab)out it bothers them.
B/w movies were in the era when people could understand the plot and hidden nuances, and visual comedy, and see the genuinely funny side of things. You ask anyone under 25 to watch a Charlie Chaplin film from the 20's these days, and unless it is spelt out in 6" high letters for them they haven't got a clue.

Didn't find out about UFO until many years later but never could catch all the shows or find them in any order. So it was very confusing to see.
I loved that show UFO ! I watched it all the time in the early 1970's
(on a black and white TV set )
Needless to say, when I bought the DVD set about 10 years ago, I was
quite surprised to find out that Gabrielle Drake and the rest of the
crew on moonbase Alpha (all Hot chicks) had 'purple' hair !
