Still some building work on the bar and bistro to go I think peoples... and I admit I've let myself go a bit since seti went down...
but the soup kitchen is up and running :) except there's no soup nor are there any bowls *smile at everyone like it doesn't matter*
Bur I'm managing to keep a grip on my manners :) and I know we all will during any and ALL spells of setilessness *breathe out into paper bag* that we may encounter *breathe in in paper bag*. And if we're very good we may even get table service :)
So lets not make our hosts regret this... if they haven't already :)

Well, I've suspended SETI Main and Beta, again... Trying to preserve what work I do have for when they come up again... :-/
Crunching Einstein full bore now; three WU's at a time on my GTX760. Working three at a time seems to take about four and a half hours per WU.

Hi Magic :) of course they do! Everyone is welcome here... and the locals are very nice :) Phil might even let you reload his BB gun :)
Of course - any alien credentials (Andromeda birth certificates - those kinds of things) that you bring in with you might get... heavily pawed... and when the soup kitchen bowls arrive there IS a chance you'll be surrounded by a carefully balanced array of them and be asked to beep... just until we start getting work again... but we're... mostly harmless :)

Just wondering since I have been with the LHC even longer than here (since that project started just before this one) and for some reason the Atlas and vLHC sites don't go beyond the home page today.
I am from the Milky Way so I guess I am ok there (not swearing to be from Earth though)
Now as far as Phils BB gun.......well I just happen to have a couple thousand BB's and I will reload for him if I can borrow his.
Mine is a pistol version and I can't hit the broad side of a barn unless I shoot at the barn from a few feet away
Its purpose is to make sure the blue jays here finally understand the seeds in my bird feeders are for the lil chickadees and finch and other lil birds.
That way I can watch the tv with both eyes instead of having one look at the window 30 feet away where those bird feeders are.
Doubt that even a rifle could shoot the bees off the hummingbird feeders though
