They barely scratched the surface of TB shows. There's the whole Key to Time season, the early ones with Harry, I only saw one each with Romana and Leela (although I missed a few along the way)...

The very early series with William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee etc with the Daleks and the Cybermen were the best. Then they tried to build on it by making the doctor a more darker in depth character to appeal more to adults, which where I think it went wrong.
It never fails to amaze me how many people still don't realise that the robot dog K9 is a play with words on Canine. People think of it as an R2D2 or C3PO in Star Wars type of thing.
