Who says there is only one of those? It's probable, but not certain.

Gary was referring to many

Gary was referring to many countries on this planet that are now finding that they have inflammable/combustible exterior cladding on their buildings.

He was not referring to other exoplanets that may exist in the human habitable zone orbiting other star systems.

The question he was answering

The question he was answering was about planets though. And there could be multiple planets where buildings are covered in fire starter.

Avoiding rush-hour during construction on infrastructure is not such a bad advice anyway. I'd say take an alternative method of transportation, but urging people to use the car instead of public transport would not be politicly correct if your PR for public transport.

The phrase "What planet do

The phrase "What planet do these people live on?" is a colloquial and jocular expression meaning that someone is out of touch with current thinking, current events, or accepted practices in general.  It is not meant to be taken literally. Other equivalents are

What century are you living in?

You been living under a rock?

Do you live in a cave?

In the case of the Waterloo station refurbishment, closing  50% of the platforms at the height of the holiday season has to be seen as extremely bad planning at the very least. Then they compounded the issue by asking their customers to go on holiday while they did the work. How? Without pay from work? By walking? It is a PR disaster.

And there could be multiple planets where buildings are covered in fire starter.

The NASA Exoplanet Database lists 3502 exoplanets discovered as of 8/3/2017

Exoplanets

There is no evidence that any one of them has any life, no evidence that any one may have buildings, even less what materials they may be covered in. To imagine anything else has no basis for validity.

The phrase "fire starter" is not recognised in the building industry or by fire fighters. Gary used it to refer to external combustible cladding now being found on many buildings throughout the world. To be technically correct these combustible panels are known as "accelerants" i.e. they will aid the spread of a fire already started by another means.

Generally speaking fire starters, i.e. items used to start fires, can be matches, flints, lighters etc; anything that produces a flame to ignite combustible materials.

Transport Secretary Chris

Transport Secretary Chris Grayling said the lessons would make UK roads safer.

He said: "Allowing learners to drive on motorways in a supportive environment will help them develop a practical understanding of how to use motorways safely before driving independently."

I presume that Grayling is an educated man, is there two L's in Bo***cks?

If I am not mistaken that is

If I am not mistaken that is common practice in France where those are required to have a large A (apprentice) on their cars to indicate to other drivers to be careful around them.

In France learner drivers can get a permit to drive as an 'apprenti' (apprentice) and have to put an A sticker on their car, much like the British L sign.

The UK also has a voluntary P

The UK also has a voluntary P plate to denote a probationary driver that has just passed their driving test. There are calls to make that mandatory for one year.

Has anyone seen the advert

Has anyone seen the advert for the new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox?

Available with

Low speed forward braking ( for those half asleep)

Lane Keep Assist with Lane departure warning (for those that are asleep)

Forward collision alert (for those that are half blind)

intelliBeam

This available technology automatically switches on the high beams when driving conditions become too dark, and reverts to low beams when it detects an approaching vehicle.

(i.e. for those that are too lazy to dip the headlights)

Safety Alert System

With this available feature, you have the option of directional seat-bottom vibrations instead of audible safety alerts.

(we'll tickle your bum if you are deaf)

Only in America!!!
