That cat would need a new home if it were still alive when I got done with it!! Don't get me wrong I can play with cats at someone elses house, I can even tease them and they enjoy it as much as I do, but there IS a line and a half dead mouse in my mouth is WAAAAAAAY past it!!!

Rehoming might not be necessary... there's a distinct possibility the lack of appreciation you're demonstrating here *show everyone where here is* of a half-dead mouse in your mouth - would get noted up to a point, I'm almost certain ;)
Where rehoming might be revisited as a solution - would be if the cat, for example, decided to clear up the misunderstanding by establishing whether you'd prefer it dropped on the pillow beside you in a more alive than half-dead state for example.
I think it's one of those things it's difficult to explain to them. Partly because they inherently know that nothing other than another cat, can have a better idea than they can... so giving it to someone less likely to steal it - to hold... whilst dealing with an out of place whisker makes a lot more sense to them than anything you or I might propose on finding it in our mouths.
Mine continuously kills a piece of green fluff and presents it to my quite noisily
Fluff is tricky stuff.
:)
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

You misunderstood me, the cat would be GONE that same day!! I wouldn't care if it understood or not, it wouldn't matter...there are boundaries you don't cross and that's definitely one of them!! Earlier Kathryn said "cats are going to cat" that's probably why I like playing with OTHER PEOPLES cats, but refuse to own any of my own.
<--------- The young lady on the left now has two cats at home, Lily and Storm, who only arrived last weekend...
Although a few weeks back they thought they were down to none. Cheryl, Scatletts mum, got a telephone call to say that a cat had been found by the roadside and it looked very much like Lily. Cheryl went to check and sadly found that it looked exactly like Lily...tearfully she took her to the vets while she decided what to do with her.
Later that afternoon everyone was sat at home when suddenly in walked Lily....to say that they jumped out of their slin is an understatement.
Apparently the cat by the roadside wasn't her, which Cheryl would have realised if they'd have scanned the cat, as they had Lily chipped when she was a kitten, at the vets. So she's paid £120 for a cat that they didn't own...they still haven't found the real owner..

I'll bet the owner, if they find them, will be very happy they spent the money to save the cat.

Unfortunately that wasn't the case, by the time Cheryl found the cat, it was already too late to save it...

Sorry to hear that, some owner will never know the fate of their cat.
