Interesting tipple :-)

The reigning monarch King George VI, and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, visited Canada in 1939. Crown Royal was introduced that year by Samuel Bronfman, president of Seagram, as a tribute to the royal visit. It was available only in Canada until 1964.

I did not know that..I am very glad they are sharing now!!!

Wasn't there a 'Royal Crown' Cola at one time also ?

Yes, there still is...  BIG seller in Texas!  Laughing  Can still be found in Mill Valley, CA...  Hard to find anywhere else that I know of in CA.  NOT in any of my local stores...  Frown  This was my all time favorite soda.

Bottled in the USA by Dr. Pepper / Snapple group, so it should be available.  Just might have to order it though as I don't think it is a big seller anymore.  Oh, and like everything they shortened the name to its initials, RC Cola.  https://www.drpeppersnapplegroup.com/brands/rc-cola

Good morning everyone!! It's

Good morning everyone!! It's going to be another fairly nice day at the beach, a chance of some rain this morning then some Sun this afternoon. High is supposed to be in the mid 70's later on, right now it's in the mid 60's with water temps still in the high 50's though, lots of people in their wet suits trying to stay warm this morning.

You can find it around here. There are even a few small fast food joints that serve it instead of Coke or Pepsi. I don't like the stuff and I absolutely HATE Diet Rite.

(Yes, I'm back after 15 days of absence that nobody seems to have noticed. There is a reason for the absence, but I don't want to get into it right now. However, I could also use some cheering up.)

Diet coke is total crap, but the Cherry coke was quite pleasant. Of course what that lot over the pond call soda we call carbonated drinks. This is real soda water used as a mixer often with Scotch.

And SOME people over here call it "pop", it sorta depends on what part of the Country you are from as to what you grow up calling it. It's like Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the 3 normal meals of the day, some people call them breakfast, dinner and supper, same meals different names.

David it's a great day when you wake up breathing, I'm glad you're back I just figured you got busy and had 'other' things to do!! I take breaks from here too, on my trips I don't normally take my usual laptop and not all the links are on there so I don't always remember to do everything I do at home. I have a new for me laptop that I'm trying to figure out right now, not this specific one though, it's a Mac 13" dual core. It's 'different' but the same, it uses different keystrokes, but they work the same way! For example instead of pressing the ctrl and C key to copy something you press the Apple key and C, seems the Apple key is similar to the ctrl key in Windows in that way. Two finger mouse movements are new to me though, that takes some adjusting to as I switch back and forth between my usual Windows pc's and my lone Mac machine. I have to try and figure out how to import my bookmarks from Windows though, I have WAAAY too many to be going to each site to then manually bookmark them!!

Mikey,

If you're using Firefox, install XMarks on the machine that has the Bookmarks you want to save and move to the other computer.  Once installed, from Tools ---> Xmarks choose Synchronize Now.  Let Xmarks complete the Synchronize session.  Then go to the other computer, Install XMarks, Login, perform a Synchronize Now on it, and ALL of your Bookmarks will be there.  Laughing  You can do this to as many computers as you have.

Now, for your Passwords that are saved on the First System; Install Password Exporter and then in Tools  --->  Add-ons choose Password Exporter  --->  Preferences and Export the saved passwords to a file.  (I choose to save as "csv" file.)  Then on the second computer, Install Password Exporter into Firefox there and then copy the "csv" file from the First system to the Second system, and go to Tools  --->  Add-ons and choose Preferences and Import the saved "csv" file.  Now, all your saved Passwords for all your Bookmarked Sites will be on the Second system, too!!!  Laughing

Thank you to those offering

Thank you to those offering support.

Diet Coke may be crap, but I still drink it (less than I used to because I'm generally avoiding caffeine and Caffeine Free Diet Coke really is crap). Same with Diet Pepsi. Royal Crown's Diet Rite is so abominable I wouldn't even gargle with it.

I used to drink Diet Pepsi but now don't drink any 'cola' products at all, I do still have an occasional Diet Ginger Ale once in a while, but not more than once every couple of months or so.
