No problem. It will eventually report at next scheduler contact. If impatient or curious, you can make it report by doing 'update project'. Go to project tab, highlight project, right click on mouse, select update project.

OOPS! There are two project tabs. The upper one next to the work tab does have an update item.
The lower one next to application only has a show graphics.

There is one 'project' tab, not two. The tab next to it should be labeled 'work'.

Tried your instructions. When I place the pointer over 'update project' the display changes and my pointer is over 'attach to new project'.

You have found a thread that dates back to Feb 24 which was referring to version 4.19 behaviour. You don't mention what version you are running but please be aware that there were major changes in the GUI behaviour in 4.2x and later and this is probably why the instructions "don't seem to work" :).
Unless you have a very good reason to do otherwise, you should basically allow BOINC to update when it wants to automatically. It will do so in a timely manner and you really don't have to worry about it.
