Finished several work units

Finished several work units and my cpu times seem to be 5% higher. It seems to be claiming more credit too. Could it be requesting larger chunks?

I am running amd 64 3800+ with one gig of ram.

screen saver now works.

If it takes longer, then yes, it'll claim more credit.

Doubtful. If that were the case, Bernd wouldn't be trying to figure out why they're taking longer. ;)

My first WU done with v. 0.03 validated ok and finished a couple of hundred seconds faster than stock client.

Oh - faster? What machine (CPU)?

BM

P4 1.8 sse2, 512 MB RAM.
[edit] It was only like 250-300s faster than several before done with 4.79. [/edit]

Happy crunching,

I have finished all my 4.79

I have finished all my 4.79 units so now i am crunching the 003 units. According to Boinclog and Boincview they are going to take around 40m more than the 4.79 units but we'll see when they are finished.

At least the graphics now work perfectly with my Radeon 800XL now. :-)

Completed 16 work units with no errors. Times vary from 25460 to 26167 depending on work unit. This was a new machine with no prior Einstein times, so can't compare if it is faster or slower.

I will let it run for a bit longer and see if it settles down, if not its back to the old drawing board for me.
Hope this helps out you guys.

As can be seen in my results,

As can be seen in my results, the 0.03 version runs quicker for me. By about 2,000 seconds.

On a P4 Celeron 2.3GHz (based on the Northwood), 512MB RAM, Windows 2000 SP4.

Both units were run unattended, switching every hour together with CPDN, Seti and Seti Beta.
