Hello Gray, And thank

Hello Gray,

And thank you for your care and attention. It is true that i'm really very happy for the rejuvenescence of my old computer grace to Gary and Michael, also i like so much this story of crunching, i find it very exciting and it is to me a sort of job or task or duty .Yesterday the both projects of EAH and Seti have been completed and i got new credits. These credits are so precious to me because i get them not very easily, i'm really a happy cruncher. Thank you again,

Ariane

Hello Ariane

SETI@home is something that I did for many years before BOINC came along. I'm running Einstein now, partly because I wanted to try something different, partly because the SETI@home servers seem to be permanently overloaded , and so many times I have been unable to connect to them - and I tended to get frustrated with that, and of course every now and again I like to just sit and watch the Einstein graphics - beautiful. (grin). As far as it being a job - well I have a job making adverts for a newspaper here in South Africa, so that satisfies the "desire" to work - now if I could get a job as a PC games tester (very wide grin). I run Einstein because I want to do my little bit to help science - I am trained as an artist, so as you can imagine, trying to do some of the so very complicated stuff that those intelligent people do is somewhat beyond me. What I do is a small help, but if enough people like you and I do our little bit something really big could result !

Best wishes - Gray

Hello again Gray, I

Hello again Gray,

I don't really agree with the concept of helping, what i do is just for myself, i enjoy crunching not because i feel helping science but because i participate in it.I don't consider scientists some supermen monitoring or dominating me, and myself a tiny creature watching them with astonishment, i consider myself a superwoman having nothing less than the scientists.I feel myself an equal of them and on the same level. We are all searching eagerly for the truth but by different paths, this is the only difference between us.

Ariane,

Well spoken, and daring the wrath of the godz, my dear heretic. lol

All of us are equal faces of the same indivisible living organism, viewing our world from different perspectives and relaying the experiences to the core which lies within, where it is available for all "individuals" to share.

Dear Michael, Last

Dear Michael,

Last night when i was checking my e-mails on yahoo, just by stupidity i began playing with different buttons on my 3 stages of toolbars by right and left clicking to see what they will give and when i clicked lock toolbars , suddenly all the 3 stages of toolbars disappeared and i lost the bottom of the page too where i could see the time spent to download or upload or the time i should wait to appear my expected page.Today after testing all the possibilities i could arrange my habitual toolbars but i still don't have the essential at the bottom of the page, in all sites.I tried everything but i think i missed the right thing. Could you please help me to fix this problem ?

Thanks a lot .

Dear Ariane,

I'll try, but I have to tell you first that I have not used Internet Deplorer for ages, so I'll fire it up and try to learn again. I'll be probably 20-30 minutes. It doesn't matter if I futz mine up by trying the options; the only time it gets used is when I need updates for Windows, the rest of the time I use Firefox or Opera browsers.
