I'm advised that I won Number 51 and must therefore start Number 52.  I'm copying rules Mikey posted a while back here:

1. To participate in the game, you must post to the prescribed thread.
2. A post must consist of at least one word.
3. A participant may not have two or more consecutive posts in the thread.
4. The winner of an episode is responsible for organizing the next episode and for choosing the winner of that episode.
5. The winner may be chosen on the basis of the date/time of the post, the number of the post in the thread (50th post; 31415th post; ...), the presence/absence of a particular word/phrase in the post, or any other reason selected by the organizer of the episode. However, the organizer of an episode is prohibited from winning that particular episode.
6. Have fun!

Recent Clangers DownUnda

Recent Clangers DownUnda :

Motorsports commentator : today will decide the winner of the championship, both contenders have won 16 races each out of the 30 races so far this season.

Chemist franchise : offering a series of lectures to people with dementia, about dementia.

Real Estate advisor : if you are a property owner, then now is the time to sell. But if you're looking to get into the market  I'd suggest you wait a while.

Politician : we lost the election because not enough people voted for us.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

These low paying pulsar tasks

These low paying pulsar tasks that we have been getting have dropped my RAC from 540K down to under 400K, what's not to like?

I like the politician one, at least they were honest.

As for the tasks yes most of the ones we are getting are the shorter ones right now, that's good for my lower power gpu's.

They actually work on Turing cards.  On the other hand, I think on my little fleet the low-pay tasks seem to have a several times higher invalid rate than the high-pay tasks.

My less powerful gpu's are doing better than one my better gpu's, a 1060, which had a very high error rate before I took it off and put it elsewhere.
