So we're going for a confluence of the number 54 and astronomy then, eh ?
A couple of days ago I was at the Parkes Radio Telescope facility in outback New South Wales. They began to build that in 1954. At the visitor centre I bought a book which you cut out pieces from and glue the bits together to make a 1:237th scale model of the telescope. This will take me 54 hours to make. Also I counted 54 nearby sheep, for a given definition of 'nearby'. On the way there and back we passed within 54 kilometres of the township of Burrumbuttock, of which there is only one instance in this Universe. I kid you not.
Now you can all relax because this is the winning entry !
Cheers, Mike.
@Annie : Why are you driving a tank ? I mean there are plenty of good reasons to do that, but why now ? I for one dearly want an M1A2 Abrams to sort out some of the more nuanced parking issues in my town. I feel an Abrams gives one a unique edge in any discussion, plus one can demonstrate with clarity any particular point one might propose.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

A German Panzer/Tiger would be alot more impressive, M1A2 Abrams ones being so new and all.
there is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_54 which also has a link to 55P, as the same person discovered both and he even has a crated named after him on the moon.
So far, no one is winning. Gary is trying the hardest but his guesses while truly excellent are too real to be right. Although real is probably not the right word. Wrong universe, maybe? Mike has the right spirit but he too is in the wrong universe. Although it's not exactly the wrong universe....
