Good spark of imagination there. Good enough for a 1950's style sci-fi movie :
The Ham & Cheese Toasties From Dimension 54 !
.... will they make it to Earth ? Who cooked them ? What is their real purpose ? Are they just passing through ? The USAF has denied their existence ! Don't eat them or you will become one of them ....
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
Valentine's Day huh ? Gifts abound. I have just heard of someone who received from her love a heavy device that drives bolts into concrete slabs. Now that's what I call building a relationship.
Cheers, Mike.

We are giving a gift to our kids...we are signing the Trust papers today and will start moving things into it as in my State of North Carolina everything in a Trust bypasses all taxes and Courts and goes straight to the designated heirs when we both die, no funny business in between. That means all cars, home, etc will all be in there so the tax man can stay home!! We are also signing some medical paperwork so there's no questions about what we want someone to do with us if we can't make our own decisions.
My m-i-l had none of that and I had to make the decisions for her as my wife couldn't when she was dying. I told them to keep her breathing until my s-i-l got there to say her goodbyes too. She had an aneurysm on her Aorta that everytime her heart pumped it filled the sack around the heart with blood making the heart work harder and harder. It took them 40 minutes to open the door after she pushed her medical alert pendant so we were never able to talk to her as only modern medicine kept her 'alive' for the 8+ hours it took for my s-i-l to get there. We lived 2 1/2 hours away and without modern medicine we would not have been able to make that decision either.
After more than 10 years cranking out BOINC tasks, my primary computer system appears to be on its last legs...at least without some informed technical bandages.
I'm not sure if it's the GPU, memory, CPU or power supply that's going bad...suspecting the CPU or power supply right now because it just suddenly stops without warning. If it was GPU it might still run, but the screen would probably show garbage. Memory going bad should give a warning or BSOD.
Going to try replacing the PS and see if that helps. Unfortunately, since I retired last October and moved down to Oklahoma I no longer have easy access to computer parts stores...the nearest being almost an hour's drive away.
I dropped my computing preferences down to 2 cpu so it runs one cpu task and one gpu task at a time to try and reduce the system load. Unfortunately, when I got up this morning the system was dead again.

I hear ya Randy, getting old is hell.

No, but here's a Valentine smooch! :-3

I've been considering this:
and this:
and think I'm getting somewhere now
All we need to do is find a link between the two! :)
And then all we need do is know we have.
edit: *boggle eyes* you have no idea how close I came to double-posting then :/
I'm glad he's still moving too, Mikey :) *beam at MAGIC*
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I'm just here for the post count as I have no idea what the clues mean.
I was working on a diagram
I was working on a diagram but I can't find it at the moment.
I think you'll find you will after you've finished reading this, Mikey, and you really are, most welcome :)
The infinite improbability of finding 54 ham and cheese toasties in space is less than that of finding 42 of them...?
an actually edit: I have absolutely no idea why I put a question mark at the end. It doesn't need one. No.
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Okay that I can understand, but if you can find 42 doesn't it make sense that the next 14 should be nearby, wouldn't they congregate together?
It's okay mine was an actual question...even if it was hyperbole.

Oh, well, time to google some parts.
