" Now I'm looking at that nasty ol prep this Tuesday for a colonoscopy on Wednesday."
The prep is not real bad, as far as the colonoscopy I did my last one w/o anesthesia and it was fascinating to watch on the HD color monitor. Good luck
Could you all do me a favor and get that colonoscopy for me because if the *tools* are bigger than that text and I am not under the influence of that hospital morphine after I was some how captured in my sleep there is absolutely no chance of me ever doing that test.

Thanks
The test isn't THAT bad, I had my last one done with the same drug Michael Jackson died from, Propofol, and it was HEAVENLY!!! I had to self pay, ie no insurance coverage due to me needing one RIGHT NOW and my insurance saying "you can wait" and me wanting to get a surgery that was waiting on the Colonoscopy and them doing the rescheduling more than 6 weeks later if I didn't get it done RIGHT NOW. I was laying on the table the Dr came in, the Anesthesiologist was already there and had the iv running and the Anesthesiologist said count to 5 and I laughed because they usually want you to count backwards from 10 and then I woke up and it was done!! There were zero after effects from the Propofol and it didn't make me feel funky or wobbly legs or anything. Mine was clean and the scare of why my Iron was soooo low was found to be in my diet not from me leaking.
I hope your week turns out all good, Randy and that getting through the hoops isn't too uncomfortable. My other half had one recently because his Crohn's disease went into overdrive and the scans had showed an area of great suspiciousness which needed investigating. He cancelled the appointment the minute it arrived...

I'm not usually mean...
...but I cancelled getting him the over-the-counter remedies he was dosing himself with until he got himself another appointment, which he did, and the suspiciousness wasn't anything too scary in the end! So all good! :)
Are you a ... deep sleeper, Magic or...?
;)
When I get my liquids in every day they let me count Sugar Free popsicles and Sugar Free jello too, it helps break up the drinking to get the liquids in.
That's good :) Cutting fluids made matters worse, which is kind of good because I think I'd reached mostly-shrivelled. The next experiment, stopping some of my heart medication, is not making me feel too clever at all though. I mean... should a pulse be 184 first thing in the morning when all you've done is turn off a non-scary alarm clock? Mind you... it is Monday isn't it...? That could explain it :)
edit: to make the point that I've won.
and... to wish everyone a good week.

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

That's very good even if you did have to make the choice for him.

I'm hoping your Dr knows it was high like that, mine used to do that but now that I take some med for it it doesn't anymore, mine wasn't the BAD reason it was high just a kinda sorta bad reason, turns out I have SVT and it used to kind of jitter some times. SVT is a faulty electrical connection and it arcs across the top instead of the way it should in a nice rhythm, it means each chamber of the heart doesn't do it's job of pumping blood like it should. I guess it can be fatal if left untreated but mine was beating along at over 240bpm for well over 2 hours before I called the ambulance and they gave me something to stop them. I had no clue I had them before that but since the drug worked the Dr said that's what I have. In the past they've just stopped on their own at some point, never more than 2 hours though.

I am winning!! It is cold here but not nearly as cold as though within the major part of the "Polar Vortex", I am near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina which is near the bottom of the thing so the temps yesterday and today are down into the high 20'sF, about -2C, but that's nothing like the minus 20'sF, -28C, that people in the Northern part of the US are seeing yesterday and today. When you factor in the wind chill it feels like 21F, -6C, outside for me but again the Northern part of the US is seeing wind chills in the minus 50F, -45C, range!! For those that don't know 'Wind Chill' is the temp any exposed skin feels, so it's best to bundle up alot as at -45C even eyeballs can freeze in about 5 minutes. The News folks are all doing the throwing boiling water into the air and watch it instantly turn to snow long before it hits the ground, it's a cool effect to prove it's cold out there.

Another major benefit is you
Another major benefit is you know you have no polyps.
