G'day Bruce - (Good Aussie

G'day Bruce - (Good Aussie name there by the way)

I'm all for you joining the Colonials for a couple of weeks - giv'em a go.

They're not a bad bunch of blokes and sheilas and they do think Einstein is a pretty spiffy bloke (I got a poster of him on the dunny wall - I find it a nice quiet place where you can contemplate the answers to the universe and everything).

My family is mostly Taswegians, so I'm not really biased, the Northerners do a pretty good job.

Hope you can join'em.

Hey Bruce, you mind if we call him Bruce too? It's easier that way.

Um, Bruce if you try that in AltaVista it'll be under 'Strine to 'Merikain or British. If you have trouble, I can try for you.

G'day Bruce Just in case

G'day Bruce

Just in case you don't know what an Aussie Assault is -

Aussie Assaults are short term campaigns to lift the team rankings in a nominated project. Participation is voluntary and the amount of CPU power you contribute to the project is entirely up to you. You can see what an Aussie Assault looks like here.

And if you really want to see the effect of an Aussie Assault head over to ABC@Home and check out this thread. Not only did we get the Aussies involved we even managed to rope in a few French speakers :)

[Shoutout to L'AF: G'day Francophone's we had fun in AA5 - ready for AA6? :D ]

I'm not a Bruce but you are

I'm not a Bruce but you are welcome to join us in the next AA, which looks like Einstein as it has been runner up on at least two other votes. I have re-attached a few PC's and started to crunch a bit of Einstein again to get the pending up a bit....

Ni! Bruce,

I have a request. After you give the Aussie's a boost for a couple of weeks, can you come over to "The Knights Who Say Ni!" for a couple of weeks?

It'd be a nice shot in the arm for our team.

Well, I am biased as well,

Well, I am biased as well, but I'd also love to see you join an Aussie Assault as a special guest cruncher, Bruce.

Of course, your crunching calendar might fill up rather rapidly after that. But hey! If you can get teams to bring a special effort to bear on Einstein@Home by adding your cattle station for a couple of weeks, then doesn't that mean the farm is effectively providing even more crunch power to Einstein?

Seriously - it would be a nice shot in the arm for any team that is willing to put in a special bit of effort on your project!
It's only for a couple of weeks - not like CPDN where your whole credits would transfer to the team. (If that were the case, I would be offering bribes of cigars, use of my car, my sisters phone no........)
