I just upgraded BOINC from 4.68 to 5.4.9 that is needed for BS. When I know that the update was working correct I shut down BOINC and copied all the files for BoincStudio to the BOINC folder and restarted BOINC. Was running as Boinc without BoincStudio.
Shut down Boinc again and started BoincStudio, nothing happening till I connected the newtork up and it downloaded and installed it's update. But it will not run any of the programs.
The only thing I get from BS is 17/06/2006 00:56: Can't connect: no hostname for New host.
There appears to be no place to tell it the host name for whare I have BOINC, but being in the same folder it should find it I think.
Any ideas on what I am doint wrong with this would be appreciated.

Try right-clicking on 'computers' then click 'new host'. Create a new host.
Left-click on this new host and go to the 'settings' tab.
There should now be a window with options for 'DisplayName', 'HostName', 'Port', 'Password' and so on. You can now set up your newly created host.

Did the connect to new host, renamed host the same as I have always used for the computer. But could not come up with a dialoge box for entering the other info. Has a place for the port, password (don't have one set), Ect. but it is a display only, can not enter info.
BOINC 5.4.9 started trashing some work, but I had the internet unplugged so I deleted all and restored the backup that I made just before starting this update.
Gettin late and tired, will try it again tomarrow when not tired. Best not to do this when overtired.

[EDIT] From what I have read in messages BOINC and BS have to be started seperately, True? That is the only way I got anything running. Are others installing this in the BOINC folder like we did the optomized BOINC Clients?

In Studio, left pane, click on your host under computers, then click the settings tab. Your port is 31416, your password is whatever is in your boinc/gui_rpc_auth.

as above,
*I have 101 MB free, however Einstein thinks that I only have 5.9
Why ?
[edit]
btw: 5.9 MB is the size of albert_4.37_windows_intelx86.exe
So, I must revert to use boinc 5.5.0 from crunch3r
Instead of Boinc 5.4.9 from BoincStudio ?
It looks like BOINC is only allowed to use 2GB, so appearently you are already using 1.4GB for BOINC. This does seem a bit unlikely but is possible if you are attached to CPDN.

The disk was 850MB in total, so 2 GB usage for BOINC wasn't possible.
