I am also very puzzled why the "your account"-page is redesigned and not the albert-software, the client and also the credit-system.
Hello guys, there is software arround that is way faster than the one provided by the project.
it is so sad. *sob*
The project developers don't write the changes for the Boinc Server Software (which includes forums, profile and account pages), they only add them.
To see that someone wasted his time not writing but adding useless features makes it a lot better. Thanks for enlightenment.
If you have 3 cars of which one is running and 2 are not, then making the running car faster is a shitty idea.
I frequently hear people argue they gonna leave E@h if communication doesn't improve and urgent optimizations aren't done, if one doesn't receive as many WUs as he can handle. Do you?
Pinking up the errors is a good idea. Whoever did it may very well not have the skills to optimise code the way Akos has.
I understand the frustration being expressed here, and there is justification for it, but the arguments in this thread are not the strongest. Just take heart that Bruce Allen, with his horde of Opterons running Linux, is stuck on impulse power while the rest of us have warp drive.

From the Einstein@Home Contributors page:
'David Hammer UWM Server installation and administration, Screensaver, Website, Debugging, Data preparation' He doesn't deal with the science code or optimizations. Looks like he's doing his job.

...which is helpful in team competition but to the disadvantage of the project. Guess what I would rate more important...
How would you btw call someone to write a twice as fast application and not run it himself? Altruistic? Ignorant?
The webpages need to be up to the new BOINC code, so that when the new BOINC is released it will comply with the way it works. So they update the webpages to be able to use the new features of BOINC, which then they can add to the new Albert client, etc.
So, yes updating the webpages is a necessary step in advancement of the software.

Thank you. The E@H developers are well aware of all problems that need to be fixed and we are working on all of them. I have personaly been have even been cutting out sleep to try to get E@H in shape.
As it has been said the E@H developers do not write the webpages and I upgraded them at the personal request of both David Anderson and Bruce Allen.

You´re right with the update argument!
WTF is the reason to link to outsourced Stats that everbody who want it, use it from his "Favorites", and damaged the screen-size?
All programmers spirit is needed to optimize the "Albert" for all OS.
This must be number one on the todo-list!
My problem is, that nobody of the "official developers" answer the questions.
We can discuss as long as we want, to say: "in china damaged a rice-cup", will be more important to them.
;(
None of my previous questions in diff. threads, was answered till today!

Chris is obviously right.

Chris is obviously right. Also it's some team advertising going on there which I do not appreciate.
Also the WU details page changed, client errors are indicated by pink background color. There were surely more imortant things to do.
WTF I'm writing here...nobody cares anyway.
