I debated about posting this in the humor thread. But I think it is more off beat than funny.

Accounting is a Zero-sum

Accounting is a Zero-sum game.

So far, Economics hasn't been. But it sounds like government debt is infinity expandable. Except when it is not. See any country plagued by super-inflation.

So what is the soundest government strategy?

"Oh, that's Politics."

A critic is often not a problem solver.

But they ARE a necessary part deciding which problems to try to solve.

The reason Democracy is such

The reason Democracy is such a messy form of government?

It's because there are so many people involved.

Just looked at the top of the leaderboard after being absent and see a lot of shuffling has happened.  I know about the move from FGRPB1G to BRP7 but it seems a lot of users have changed their habits or moved to other projects.  What happened while I was out?

I know that Ian&SteveC, Freewill and George007 have all been concentrating on Gpugrid with e@h running only when Gpugrid runs out of tasks.  Keith M usually spreads his systems across multiple GPU projects and so has never generated as high a rac on e@h as he could have.

The number of Anonymous users has climbed.

More Boca Raton HS systems have joined the top 50.

I think my last count of Windows-based systems has increased.

I had expected the bottom scores on the top 50 to drop to maybe 750,000 but so far the newer systems that have joined the top 50 seem to have offset that.

I am not sure if "compression" of lots of systems running around 1.1M has been a factor.  Or just a suspicion on my part.

I was told that some of the new top 50 systems were active in Asteriods@Home and have have moved over here.

At least a couple of the current top 50 owners have consolidated their systems gpus into fewer systems. (Mr Kevvy at least).

Anybody else have some commentary?

It looks like valterc has

It looks like valterc has lost interest. He told me in a PM that the system I noticed had stopped crunching was moving to a different project.

Now I see both systems that used to have 8 GPU's are down to 4 on each. And his top performer only had 10 tasks getting ready to be processed. So it may also be bailing.
