Yeah but the Broncos, Vikings and then the Raiders will put Chicago back in the losing column again

Well...  I'm not ready to pass judgement just yet...  I usually wait until the mid-season point.

But...  It would seem that Matt Eberflus (HC) has loosened the reigns on Justin Fields a bit, and Luke Getsy (OC) is developing (?) plays more suited to Fields.  When: (1) the defensive coordinator resigned (due to 'health' problems to be with his family), (2) about the same time there were reported 'rumors' of police activity at Halas Hall (Bears home HQ), & (3) Chase Claypool being 'told' to stay home (i.e. - Don't come to the practices or games) for the past three games, it kind of makes you think about just what went on 'behind the scenes'.  With that scenario being played out for now, it seems that the defense has overlooked the episodes at Halas Hall and came to life.

Now the big question is will those that were taken out of the TNF game be able to heal and recover from their injuries in the next 10 days, as well as those that were on injured reserve before the TFN game when they play the Vikings next, and then the L.V. Raiders and the L.A. Chargers.  After the next three games I'll be ready to call the team either a "F*&%$#@ L@$&&" or a Winner by overcoming the odds.  They were only expected to have 6 wins anyway, but if (and when) they can't do that, the Chairman George McCaskey and Bears President Kevin Warren may start another clean sweep and start all over AGAIN!

Yeah my former Team the Commanders, which I still try to watch, and my current Team the Panthers both need alot of patience this season as well. Both are hoping to prove their draft and trade picks will work out but if they both end up fighting for the #1 overall draft pick next year there could be some horse trading going on.

At this point in the season a lot of teams have a lot of stink.

Is mediocrity the new normal for 9/10 of the league?  Has the competition committee got its wish of all teams at .500 at the end of the year?  Will anyone watch such a season?

If that's really goal of the competition committee then no people won't keep watching crappy tv or paying good money to see crappy games live. The whole point of cheering for and watching your team play is because it has a chance of winning, people won't watch a team that loses 80% of it's games except to see how they will lose this time.

E@h top 50 notes.It looks

E@h top 50 notes.

It looks like pokey (edited, wrong person) has stop crunching on one system completely. But has moved it's GPU to another system.

I suspect that the Cruncher American (edited, wrong name) dual gtx 1080 ti system will level off near 0.7M

I am (still) waiting with baited breath to see the 50th place system drop below 1M. It does seem to be coming.

I was poking around in the "user list", which lists out the top 100 RAC's by User (total of the users systems).  In the bottom of that list there are at least two instances of systems running 100% All Sky tasks on their gpus.  It makes me wonder if any of our top 50 list are running All Sky?

The top ranking e@h system has dropped below 10M....   The "world" is coming to an end????  :)

George,

Since the Chicago Bears were not playing on Sunday, who did you watch instead?

Until Einstein comes up with different gpu tasks, that take less time and give more credits, I think people will look elsewhere to crunch.

ie when I look at your tasks I see this:

146   3,465

Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 on GPUs Anonymous platform

291   3,333 Binary Radio Pulsar Search (MeerKAT) Anonymous platform

The first number is the time to crunch, with the second number being the credits given for that task.

You can clearly see the Meerkat tasks take longer and give less credits per task, the Admins have said that the GRP#1 tasks were miscredited but never bothered to change them. IMHO all they had to do was say as of such and such a date the credits for GRP#1 tasks will start receiving X credits per task instead of the current Y credits per task.
