I also think the *.pdb files

I also think the *.pdb files are useless for us (normal crunchers)... but are defined in the files section of client_state.xml and therefore 'required' and downloaded.

I removed S5R1_4.10_S5T0713.zip from my download location as it seems to produce invalid results!

The other two versions S5R1_4.10_S5T0711.zip and S5R1_4.10_S5T0712.zip are still availabe, even I myself have problems with them on a P4 XEON CPU (see this thread).

regards,
Udo

S5T0712 looks good. Three

S5T0712 looks good. Three short work units have validated with it.

Any one have problems with

Any one have problems with S5T0709 for SSE3?

First one I turned in just got the message
Checked, but no consensus yet.

Since we are doing testing with these it would be great if the project made more of the short units.
Ray

Try the Pizza@Home project, good crunching.

Ray, your last result (maybe this one?) seems made with 07010... and I'm afraid that patch brings invalid results.
I've tested 0709 and no problems at all! :-)

A long one. Started for few

A long one. Started for few minutes on S5S0007- almost all done with S5T0709 and last 1% with S5T0712 and reported as App version 4.10. Thanks again Udo and LiborA
Valid and credit granted
http://einsteinathome.org/task/35062835
P 4 HT(on) 3.4Ghz
Standard: 61,604 (almost 18hours)
Patched (Almost all S5T0709): 53,948 (15hours)
comes to ~12-13%. Not sure if i got that right.

Question: S5T0711 onwards have automatic SSE or SSE3. How can you make sure it is using SSE3? Doesn't say anything in the stderr.txt or in the result. previously it said in the result SSE3 as this result shows.

That's nonsense, from where do you have that?
If you download S5T0709.dat then is the real S5T0709 patch.
