When I win I pick a couple of things that will end the game, ie number of posts, but if that happens in 2 days what's the point? I also pick a date, an event, a key word, something else that can be a little further away, but not so far as to make the game boring a exhaustively long.
I do have one game I am running where there are only 2 of us playing, so it could go on for YEARS, what would be the point if it ended?

I made a start by posting in that "Dreaded Place". I really didn't want to, but the issue is so serious I felt that I just had to. And updated my profile too. terrible wherever it happens, but all too close to home for us.

Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now
I never remember profiles until someone mentions profiles. Then I think I should probably do one but don't - which is when I forget to remember profiles again... until someone mentions them again, of course, which is when I think I really should do one but don't... stop me if you've heard this before... because I forgot. I suppose in the time it took me to write that I could have written one... or a bit of one...

edit: forgot to say something - you posted in the dreaded place, Chriis? I forgot I was going to shove my nose in there last week. Not sure I want to after I saw something in the cafe that got moved there... is it quite grim? The board?

You'd think they'd have got it right by now
I think it would be a bit inappropriate here in Einstein to go into details about the boards on another Boinc Project. But yes, it can be a bit dire. You best bet is to lurk there for a while and make your own mind up about it. I'll PM you in the meantime.
I don't know how grim it actually is because I never go there, on the assumption that I would get horribly pissed off and not be able to sleep.

Depends what you call fun Gary! I think that our Annie is just too nice a person to stick her head in there and get it bitten off. Yes she is a big girl now that could hold her corner, but I think that she would be genuinely disappointed at what she sees and hears from her fellow humans. I can hold my own there and have done, but I simply choose not to bother any more, except on special occasions.
