Topic 198549

There has been no communication with E@H since my last upload last week, I was getting messages saying the server may be down for maintainence. Today, E@H has disappeared. I have no idea what is going on and if there is a duplicate post about this, I can't find it. I have a Power PC (G5) and am not too bright so be kind. x

E@H has detached itself

Are you using BAM (BOINCstats Account manager) from bam.boincstats.com?

If not you can easily attach again. If you do it should automatically reattach with the next synchronisation to BAM.

Hi!
I am having the same problem; E@H detached itself twice, and I manually attached again each time.
Now it says (in the Project tab):

Quote:
It will detach when task are over

I am using BAM.

There is an update on BAM!

There is an update on BAM! and BOINCstat, sold to Samsung: http://boincstats.com/en.
Maybe that explains recent issues, at least mine with BOINCstats: I can still access it, but not as easily as before.

😂 Cannot believe I got

😂

Cannot believe I got caught there, if true! What is true though, is that I´m Dutch in fact, from above the Rhine and Meuse, less prone to carnival and other such humor. ðŸ˜

The issues with BOINCstats (for me only?) and BAM! (for others, I don´t use it) seem real though.

Amanda. Have you seen this

Amanda.

Have you seen this thread? It seems that Einstein@home's new server uses a later encryption algorithm than BOINC 6.12.35 can handle. Since it's unlikely to revert to the older, less secure one, this looks like the parting of the ways for E@h and PPC Macs.

My G5's still OK with MilkyWay@home and SETI@home for the moment, but I don't know for how much longer.
