S41.06 - 0:38:05 - but some CPU time consuming applicatins were running, so the computation could be even faster!

how do D41.13 crunching times compare to D41.12?

I wonder why the Opteron took so much greater a hit?
Odd, I must agree.
which is the fastest/most reliable app for your 3800+ (have you tried u41.01?)

I have only tried the three I listed. My 3800+ doesn't support SSE3. I may try it on the Opteron 275.
CPU-Z and BS both say my 3700+ supports SSE3, but all (3) results came back invalid.

A64 E-stepping have SSE3 (e.g. Venice core), while D-stepping (e.g. Winchester) and older have SSE2 "only". But stay away from U41.01 for now, it's got some validation problems. For now S41.06 seems to be THE client. Very fast and no validation problems so far.

I don't have CPU-Z installed on the 3800+ but Boinc Studio says SSE3 is not present.
