Yes people... in the immortal words of... whoever wrote this...

Quote:

Now time for another run of this increasingly frustrating pastime.

Simple rules:
= Post in this thread, anything with legible words (ie one word posts don't count)
= Stay within the message board rules
= Empty posts are invalid towards winning
= You must wait for someone else to post before you can post again, any and all multiple posts are invalid towards winning
= Have FUN

Rules Subject to change at moderators discretion without notice.

The winner will be the last person that posted, when I have time to check the thread, after one of these events:
= A specific date and/or time occurs
= A specific number of posts have been made
= I get tired of ya'll nagging me who is the winner :)
= An event I have chosen occurs (doesn't occur)

Sorry there are no physical prizes, only the satisfaction you played and won.

And David who wrote this... :)

Quote:

I'll decide tomorrow whether there will be an incredibly complex and aggravating puzzle to solve, or we will revert to just a simple post count or other event.

For now, just chat amicably.

I can now tell you that I have my person all ready and waiting for you to discover :)

I might even pop in later and drip feed you all a clue... :) *borrow Chris's poorly ears so that the wails of horror and gnashing of teeth sound like cheers and... pause for acclaim to simmer down* :)

Obviously... this being einstein - and judging how things went last time... several billion WILL be needed... but don't worry peoples *beam biggest smile EVER beamed by an anniet* ...they're currently being prepared by my brain as I type :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I await the coming Anniet-isms with great anticipation...or is it dread?

Hmm, gonna have to ponder this for a bit. These emotional swings may require some professional assistance. Is there a doctor in the house?

Pssst .... I'm over here, hiding under my desk. I got here by using my upsey-downsey chair in emergency descent mode. All I can say is that with :

... be afraid. Be very afraid.

Cheers, Mike.

Wrapping up some old

Wrapping up some old business: in hindsight, it seems very likely that this case was one of the two that ended up not needing a jury the day I went in. Given the relatively minor charges against him, I'm kinda glad I wasn't on his jury. The public would be outraged with us for not finding him guilty of something far worse, disregarding that we couldn't have because he wasn't charged with it. A bit of fame I don't need.

Second guess: Adam Nimoy.

An emotive case. In certain

An emotive case. In certain parts of Australia they would be doing the defendant a favor by locking him up. Alas there is presently a pretty solid and deep perception that courts, judges and lawyers are basically useless appendages upon society. But not the police, interestingly. Anyway you know where those type of thoughts lead. A short street indeed.

Cheers, Mike.

Oh... *wave hands nonchalently* ... don't you worry, that'll be dread... *smile happily at Phil* ... with completely FREE accompanying panic attacks :)

*offended blink*

Well if you insist on a second opinion, might I advise a doctor brought in from... well anywhere really... rather than...

Quote:
Pssst .... I'm over here...

Yeah right... *roll eyes over... cattle grid... y-e-s... that'll work*

Have you seen his house...?

And how about his...

...camper van?

No isolated, peaceful let's-get-away-from-it-all-darling breaks there... no... not when you need the help of a passersby or ten just to get out of having recklessly got into it in the first place...

Yes... well... when your upsey-downsey chair was first discussed Mike, we were all left with the illusion that... following an emergency descent... that you might, both elegantly AND actually, disappear behind your desk...

*peer unexpectedly out of everybody's monitors and... wait for screams to die down and... chest-clutching runners to return*

...weren't we? :)

Well. Shall we take a look at just how inelegant reality can be...?

Yep... right... Okay. I didn't expect it to be that... well... bad...

I take it THAT is downsey *point up (up = that ^ way)) at downsey*
R-i-g-h-t... so can we assume that upsey is when you're sitting on your chair without your desk adorning your head... or is that an assumption far far too far? :)

@David :)

Wow! :) THAT is amazing! :)

Oh... just so you know... the "wow" ... *slow blink of sheer anniet-quality* ... doesn't mean you've won...

*sigh* *another blink - ragged* No.

What an amazing woman though! :) I'd not heard of her before so thank you for bringing her to my attention :)

Aaah... now that would have been a good one to choose... I mean... how could you not ? after discovering the title of his memoirs ? ... My Incredibly Wonderful, Miserable Life ... (summarised something like this -> :)): ...I would think) But as I have only just discovered it, it is again wrong :)

Oh... and re the jury thing ... :( that would have been tough, Glad they didn't need you.

Hi TL :) Night TL :)

So... a clue :) Let me think... I did promise to be kind :)

A Monday's child... so... fair of face :) and also short and fat and a Christmas baby too! Awwwww :) Very dead though... y-e-e-s... *mournful sigh* but only in the sense that their demise was quite some time ago so we shouldn't need too many tissues. Not like when I was *sob* considering Laika... *weeeeep* I know... *sniff* poor love *VERY loud wail* :(

*dab* Where was I? Oh yes... Even the place of their birth seems to have forgotten about them... in favour of banging on about the National Grid and secret oil wells and stuff and some bloke or other who did things in the open air a lot.

edit: Hi Bill :) Hi Uli :) Sorry - didn't see you as I leapt on top of you :)

More clues later :) Awwwwwwwwwww... You're WELCOME everyone!!! :)
