I remember playing Adventure on an Onyx computer in the 80s. No graphics, just a VT100 terminal.

Was that an ASCII game? I been searching around for quite awhile trying to locate a particular ASCII game from way back but can't remember the name (vaguely remember the game at all lol). Seems like it used X's to represent trees... I get nostalgic sometimes...
-edit- or was it interactive fiction? I did a spot of searching with the name and that is one of the possibilities I came across

I think the last is correct. You had to go in a cavern looking for treasures. It was also cited in Tracy Kidder's fine book "The soul of a new machine", describing the design of a Data General computer. I translated it into Italian. Data General does not exists any longer. I think it was acquired by EMC. An ASCII game I remember was Alien invasion or something like that. You had to shoot them down.

Tuillo you are bringing back a lot of memories I read Tracy Kidder's The Soul of a New Machine in 1981 when I was in my twenties. I completed Adventure and another interactive roll playing game called 'Zork' on a PDP-11/35 system using RSX-11 operating system.
