I have reset this and other projects many times. On this and other BOINC Programs.Defraged the system and Checked the files for errors, to no avail.
My Techie has checked out my PC and said 'there is nothing wrong with WINDOWS 7 and can't find any bugs. All other programs except those that relate to BOINC work perfectly. I have deleted BOINC-all files with REVO and reinstalled it several times - no effect.
HELP!!!

Hmmm...there seems to be

Hmmm...there seems to be something fundamentally wrong with this host's BOINC installation. Even the tasks that are running fine have this in their output:

Quote:
08:44:48 (63196): Can't set up shared mem: -1. Will run in standalone mode.

That's not good....

As other projects also have problems running there, it must be a host related problem.

Cheers
