On the 2nd page of the add project window, where you are asked "Are you already running this project?", have you selected "Yes, existing user"?

Did you manage to get this sorted?
There is a similarly named and earlier thread right next to yours with exactly the same problem. The solution was given in that thread. You could have saved yourself all that angst :-).
It would be nice to know if you're back crunching. If you're still seeing those warnings and don't know how to stop them, please ask.
Cheers,
Gary.

If you chose no will it let you attach a 2nd user to an existing project? ie for personal reasons I have 2 accounts at a project and would love to have available the option without having to detach a project and then sign back up again using the other account. That way I can run one account this month and the other account next month etc.
No idea, you will just have

And that's always been the problem, how to sign up as an existing user but not the one already signed up for it. Oh well I usually put some pc's on one account and some on the other account I guess that's the easiest solution other than a 2nd installation of Boinc.
