I have received about 24 WU's in the last few day ( competed about 16), but only 1 of them has been issued to other computers. Why is this?
How long does it take for WU's to be sent to othe computers?

I have the same problem. I think there are too many people with unfinished WUs so that nothing more can be sent to them.

One more thing...I'd rather they be unsent then sent to computers which won't be able to complete them before the deadline.

UhOh...next it will be a feature...
There are two secrets to life: 1) Don't tell everything you know...
Then the scheduler sends out
)
Then the scheduler sends out work it trys to give you WU’s for data-sets that you already have. If there aren’t any more WU’s for the data sets you got, then you will be given WU’s from a new data-set and you will have to download that data-set. For every data-set there is 150 WU’s and every WU is sent out to 4 computers.
So lets imagine that you have a fast computer and that you are the first one to download WU’s for that data-set. You download 24 WU’s (nr 1-24) and are computer nr 1 on all of these. After some time there are 3 more computers downloading WU’s from your data-set they download 20 (nr 1-20),10 (nr 1-10),15 (nr 1-15) WU’s. You download 24 more WU’s (nr 25-50). New computer downloads 7 WU’s. There is already 4 computers on WU nr 1-10 so it gets nr 11-17. The old computer that downloaded 10 WU’s gets nr 16-25.
So if you only manage to crunch one third of the WU’s the rest of the computers that crunches WU’s from your data-set and none of them are faster then you, you are going to be computer nr 1 on all 150 WU’s. All the other computers will be getting WU’s that you have already crunched.
Then you're really interested in a subject, there is no way to avoid it. You have to read the Manual.
