It may sound strange, but every time I play Worms Armageddon (v3.6.22.1) I find something like this in the message window.

Worms Armageddon vs. BOINC

Interesting. I have no solution, it's all Voodoo to me, but I play World Of Warcraft and have seen that same error sequence. None of my other projects do it, only E@H.

My setup: Win XP Pro, AMD 3200+@400, 1 GB DDR@400 in dual mode.

The "exited with zero status"

The "exited with zero status" error is a known issue. It actually resumes where it left off and doesn't really cause an error in the workunit.

So I can/should ignore the "restart" request from BOINC under this error?

If you look at the log the very next line after the "may need to reset" line should show it "restarting". It's not necessary that you reset the project as long as it keeps restarting itself. It should restart in the same second that it exits with the error - as long as it does that it's ok.

Great thanks =)

Didn't mean to hijack your thread Malik, but it looks like our problem isn't really a problem at all. I'm glad you posted. Thanks and good luck!

Turn BOINC off when you play games. =) This goes back to the SETI@home classic days. Turn off your DC project when you are playing games. ;) Your games are hogs for CPU power and memory and your DC project despite the low priority is still competing for cycles.

I get the same error whenever I tell my computer to hibernate or Stand By. So, I guess there are a variety of reasons it happens.

I've found BOINC to be very good at giving up CPU cycles to anything that needs it. I never shut it down whether I'm gaming or rendering 3D graphics. Sure, BOINC doesn't process as quick when it doesn't get all the cycles it wants, but I never see slowdowns in the other apps.
