Something strange seems to be happening.
According to the list of tasks, none of my computers has contacted the server for the past day or so. During that time in fact each computer has made contact. Completed tasks have been reported and new work downloaded
These “transactions†appear in the BOINC Manager & the new work units are being processed. No error messages have appeared in the BOINC manager. As far as I can tell, RAC seems to reflect recently returned work (it has risen a little during the time in question).
As an example, here is a link to 2412094.

Any suggestions?

I think that might be correlated with "Couldn't find computer", as that "nonexisting" computer did have server contact, according to the server logs.
Perhaps a hanging server connection (cache?), but I think the admins are alerted.

( edit ) I think this has also been making the participants/hosts counts on the server status page look a bit nonty.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
