Did you read the BOINCStat FAQs? Especially the second list item in FAQ #14:Run at least one system with all projects, or one system with project A and B, and one system with project B and C. If there is a project that runs isolated from the other projects, its CPID will never line up.

I will rejoin seti and DD@h, even though I really don't want to. But that's life I guess.
I sort of figured it would be like this since I had one other CPID problem. Should I then wait for my projects to populate the task pane, or should I join one manually and then wait for the projects to join on their own?

As I said in my edit, you don't need to download any tasks, just set "No new tasks" and click "Update" about once a day, until the CPIDs have lined up.
If you are using an account manager (BAM! or similar), use it to attach, else do it with BOINC manager's "Advanced>Attach to project" menu option.

I'm running Windows 7 and it is the way to go if you are running Windows Vista currently. In my opinion, Windows 7 should be called Windows Vista Second Edition. There are some nice enhancements in 7 if you like multimedia stuff. It also fixes some bugs I noticed in Vista.
As far as buying it goes, I would recommend it if you can afford to pay cash. As usual, I never recommend financing computer upgrades. When it comes to computer stuff, something will always be available later that is better and probably costs less.
If you have the time, the upgrade version of Win7 will let you do a "clean install", as long as it can find the XP or vista partition. It just takes some clever partitioning and some free space, but from what I've read on the Microsoft installation details, this is as easy as selecting custom install.
Win7 has a much better kernel than Vista, so performance should actually be better on the same hardware vs Vista.
I am having the same problem still. Tried to wait a week or so and nothing happened. I did update all of may projects manually for a few days, and nothing happened. On my one host (the host that I upgraded to Win 7) all of my projects are represented on that host, so what projects are on what host is not the problem. I did try to manually merge all of my same named hosts on all of my projects, but I couldn't do the same on WCG. Perhaps that is what is holding things up. Any other ideas?
WCG is special, in that there the userID is the unique key and not the email address. They obstinately refuse to conform with the rest of the BOINC community.

Your only "problem" project seems to be SETI@home, at least at BOINCStats (cpid=c489a931666fff8edb616d1948808e69). There you didn't get any new credit since February 2005.
All other projects are lined up under 56bde38b422308baf9bcde36b6b78ed2.
At least those are the only CPIDs listed for "Gerry Rough" at BOINCStats.

Hmmmm. I seem to be at an impasse. You are correct in that SETI is the only account that doesn't line up with everything else. So I tried recently to rejoin as you mentioned (irregardless of whether I rejoined for new credit), and BAM! in fact did find my old account. But that is all: it found the old account at BAM! (account 136), but could not sign me up for new work. It just found the old account and that's it. And I am not sure it can resign me up: that old account was under the old SETI prior to BOINC. I remember reading elsewhere that old seti accounts cannot be migrated to BOINC. So I am not sure I can rejoin anyway at least with the old account.
Quite apart from that, I was never really worried about the little credit I got from seti anyway. All of my other accounts lining up are what I am after. They lined up before without duplicate hosts even with the seti account the way it is now. So I am somewhat befuddled. :-/
[edit] Hark!! I just realized that I was doing work for simap recently, and it may have overlapped the time when I upgraded to Win 7. Perhaps if I rejoined simap to get things lined up that might do the trick.

There is a way to link a SETI classic account to a SETI BOINC account on the SETI homepage (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_classic.php), but I'm not sure if that would help you with your issue.
