Do you still use the test application with the file projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu/app_info.xml?

If you do, then stop boinc, remove/rename that file, restart boinc. You will receive a new application and then you will receive work. It seems that the 'All-sky pulsar search' is almost done and we crunch 'Improved all-sky pulsar search'.

You are producing nothing but errors, so your quota was reduced to one. Every
WU fails with the same error message:

4.19
CreateProcess() failed - Access is denied. (0x5)

-148

As to what is causing that, I don't know. Maybe you should upgrade to BOINC 5, so we don't have to deal with issues long gone.

You should read the Work Scheduler section of the BOINC Wiki.

Off-topic, pls forgive.

Stick,

Good news! I've gained admission into Fox Chase CC next Wednesday. Been meaning to get a mailing out to folks, but caught between a crush of work to ensure funding and excruciating pain on a nightly basis, so very low-energy at the moment.

Thank you all in advance for your indulgence.
