All my others have a quota of 8/day. Suddenly this one is not downloading due to exceeding the daily quota.
This just started happening yeaterday.
Thanks!
I can start to answer. You are down to 2/day because the last six WU errored out with an Exit Code of 99. Each time a WU errors out, your quota is decreased by one. So 8-6=2. When you start returning valid results again, your quota will increase by one for every good one you send in, until you are back up to the 8/day max.
Now what I can't figure out is what that exit code means. I tried to find it in the Wiki, but no luck. I'm either searching for the wrong thing (a very real possiblility) or there is just no documentation of that particulary exit code. SOmeone who knows what they are doing will have to figure out the whys of your problems.

capnrob97,
Short answer is that your Mac Mini is returning errored-out results. Each time that happens, your daily quota is reduced by 1. Each time a good result is returned, the daily quota will double, until the maximum or 8/day/CPU.
Your results on that machine have an errorcode of -99. I've checked the Boinc Wiki, and can't find that code listed. Perhaps someone more familiar with the Mac environment will be able to pin that one down for you.

I don't know either, but I did see that updating the BOINC version fixed it in the past for people. I see BOINC 5.2.5 is being used, while even for the Mac 5.2.13 is available. Download site.
Why does this computer only have a quota of 2 WU/day?

Ok, I am going to update all the mac boxes.
Thanks!
I run these mac minis 'headless' and only check on them once and a while (via vnc).
It would be nice if boinc would alert you to a new version being available, like windows xp or mac is does.
