At 19th April 07 I´d reinstall my BOINC system. That was just at the advent of the new S5R2-series. If I look into my 120MB big folder \\BOINC\\projects\\einstein.phys.uwm.edu it contains also files form the S5R1- and S5RI-series and groups of h1_...S5R2 and l1_...S5R2 from the date of reinstallation and a few days later. The newest group of files in this folder dated 14.05.07. The currently active files are in \\BOINC\\slots\\0. My oldest result that today is not validated is from the 30.05.07. What for are these groups of old files good? What of these old files can I delete without harm for today and in future time? Or will they be deleted some time in future by E@H?

What can be deleted?
)
They will normally be deleted automatically. However the reinstall may cause your client to lose track of some of the files. It is expected to have duplicates of the files in the "project" directory in a "slots" directory. 120mb does not sound exceptionally large, I think you are ok.
