Hi everybody.
I may be stupid but everywhere i read something about credits and how you get them and why not and so on...
Now can anybody explain to me what credits are for?
What can i do with my credits?
Thats nowhere explained.

What are credits for?

Credits are used for bragging rights, and to see that your machine(s) are doing work. You can not do anything with them. They have no value to you, except that you did work.
On the other hand, the credits are good for the project. They show that a certain amount of work was done. This allows those in charge to purpose to potential grantors that this amount of work has been done, this is the current substained, this is the growth, this is the projected growth, etc. They can benefit maybe by getting more money for their research.
You can go on many stat sites and see how well you are doing with your credits. There is KWSN's site and many others.

I'd personally would love to be able to get a nice T-Shirt, or maybe even some computer equipment for it. Or even pay some of my electric bill.
