We've updated the Web site with some new drupal features. You've probably already noticed the new icons on the forums. We've also fixed some of the missing features on the team forums. For one, all forums should now respect a user's preference for "Oldest or Newest Post First"
In addition, in the forums we've tweaked the Rich Text editor to better support BBcode.
On the backend, the Web site should no longer auto-save Computing or Project preferences. This means you must click the "SAVE CHANGES" link at the bottom in order to save your preferences to our project database. Your client will then download these preferences the next time it connects to the E@H project.
Please do continue to report any problems you see in the https://einsteinathome.org/content/report-web-site-problems-here. There are some additional threads in the Problems and Bug Reports Forum that you can use as well.

The site's search index is being re-built. We have implemented separate searching for comments in the forums. Hopefully that will make searching the site more functional. In addition, we fixed some bugs dealing with how your user profiles are searched.

Hallo!
I like to introduce graphs into the running text of a thread. The graphs are lying on dropbox. What do I have to tell to dropbox to get access from my thread to these graphs?
Many thanks in forehand and

Like I and Mike answered you in the "Getting started" section here: Inserting graphs into a thread you need to have a URL to the image you want to show and then use the [img]-tag to insert it into your message.
How to get a hold of the URL I do not know as I don't use Dropbox but there should be a manual or help section that you could read, or just Google how to share a file from Dropbox.
And please do not ask the same question in multiple threads on the forum, if the help provided thus far is not enough then ask follow up questions in the same thread about the parts you don't understand and I'm sure someone will help you.

Hallo Holmis!
Many thanks for your two answers. The first one was helpful, but my question here is indeed different from that in the forum "Getting Started". I feel sure, you´ll find out this by reading more carefully my thread.
Nevertheless, many thanks for your answer.
I believe, my question can only become answered by someone who detailed knows about this homepage here and dropbox. That´s why I ask my question here, in this specialized thread.
Propably dropbox is not the optimal cloudestore for this purpose?
Kind regards and happy crunching
Martin
The [img] tags work exactly
)
The [img] tags work exactly like before on the old BOINC website. In addition you can now also use html image tags with the WYSIWYG editor by clicking on the button with the tree.
The problem with dropbox links is that they usually point to a website not an image. There is already a working example in the Inserting graphs into a thread thread which explains exactly the problem with dropbox and how to solve it which is independent of the website but a dropbox related issue.
