I was happily running E@H and Milkyway@Home when I was noticing that I wasn't getting the Meerkat stuff I was getting previously. I had (and still have) only the one box checked, but now I'm getting all sorts of CPU stuff and no Meerkat.
So I clicked for Boinc to use the web prefs. That went poorly.
I managed to fix Boinc thinking I had allotted 0 MB of disk space, but I still can't get back to just getting Meerkat. I just updated and I'm still doing All-Sky Gravitational Wave Search and Gamma-ray pulsar search #5. Is there no Meerkat work left? Is it me?
For reference, as part of my troubleshooting, I ended up commenting-out all of cc_ and app_config.

What are your cache settings set at? ie 'store at least X days of work and an additional Y days of work' Since you are running both cpu and gpu tasks your cache could be filled with cpu tasks and not gpu tasks. And yes there are Meerkat tasks ready to be sent out according to the Server Status link at the bottom of this and most Einstein pages.
I unchecked all the options
)
I unchecked all the options under the Disk tab and that "fixed" the problem. I currently store 0.5 and 0.5 days, but still no Meerkat.

Try this... Just check MeerKat and nothing else, then close out BOINC first, then reboot and restart BOINC.
Let us know what happens.

I think your problem is too many cpu tasks which is why George's fix should work for you but you still may have to increase the cache size to 1.0 days for each. Boinc has long had a problem with a single cahce that covers both the cpu and gpu tasks so when someone like you tries to run both kinds of tasks from a single Project the cpu tasks, which tend to be longer, fill up the cache and then there's no room for any gpu tasks. The Project just knows you only have 0.5 and 0.5 days of cache available and will send you that mant tasks, usually cpu tasks first, and then stop because your setting don't allow more tasks. Often if you just increase the cache size you will get a boatload of MORE cpu tasks instead of the gpu tasks you are looking for. The easiest answer is to turn off the kind of tasks you don't want in your settings and then increase the cache size, asks for new tasks, then set the cache back to in your case 0.5 and 0.5 and allow both kinds of tasks again.
This was the basic impetus for me to get more pc's over time, that way I can run cpu tasks from project a and gpu tasks from project b and then on the 2nd pc do the reverse of it.
I have everything unchecked

I have everything unchecked but Meerkat and have selected not to send me CPU versions of GPU tasks. I have an absolute pile of All-Sky gravitational wave search 1.06 and 1.07 but no Meerkat. I just don't understand how the literal sole thing that's checked is the sole thing I never see anymore.

If you have truly de-selected all but MeerKat tasks, then try putting a "suspend" in the Boinc Manager under "projects" for all but MeerKat. Then close out Boinc Manager and restart Boinc again. That should allow you to start getting MeerKat BRP7 tasks again.

Because Boinc has one signle cache that covers BOTH cpu and gpu tasks, that means that your cache is full of cpu tasks and until it drops enough you won't get any Meerkat tasks. There are a couple ways of dealing with this, first uncheck the kind of tasks you don't want, then raise your cache levels enough so you get a bunch of the kind of tasks you have checked, then lower the cache size again and rechck both kids of tasks again and redo these steps as needed. The other option alot of people use is to load up another copy of Boinc using a different set of differectories and use one for the cpu tasks and use the other one for the gpu tasks.
