New beta driver 4326 dated the 21st of November has appeared on downloadcenter.intel.com. The summary of changes makes no mention of OpenCL. I haven't tried it yet.
Have you actually read this thread? Are you sure that string is accurate?
There is an existing report about a version 20.19.15.4279 just a few messages earlier. I wonder if that's really the same version? If you don't think it is you could always try your version to see if you get a different behaviour.
Set Einstein prefs to "Test apps"
And Yes to CPU apps when GPU versions available
R/R Boinc - Allow new tasks in Einstein but this in Event Log
11/30/2015 11:29:07 PM | Einstein@Home | Entry in app_config.xml for app 'einsteinbinary_BRP6', plan class 'BRP6-Beta-opencl-intel_gpu' doesn't match any app versions
Syntax or something is wrong somewhere -or- how else do I get the app?
The errors in the event log is because Boinc doesn't know about the app version as it hasn't downloaded it yet, the error will disappear once you get a task. To be able to control how many concurrent tasks to run on the Intel GPU you need to use the "BRP6-Beta-opencl-intel_gpu" plan class, just as you posted in message 148525.
To get BRP6 tasks for Intel GPU then you need to set the following items in you Einstein@home prefs to yes:
*Use Intel GPU
*Run test applications
*Run only the selected applications - at least select "Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Parkes PMPS XT)"
The you have to get Boinc to ask for work for your Intel GPU. The last contact log generated at 2015-12-01 11:52:03 UTC show you did not ask for any work at all.
[/pre]
The whole reason to use plan_class tag is to be able to set different settings for different plan_classes for the same search.
Do realize that the app_config.xml file have no impact on getting work for your iGPU, that's about settings for what work to ask for, how much and if running other projects then resource share between them.
If you want to run Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo), otherwise known as BRP4, then select it in your Einstein@home prefs. This search/application is for iGPU, Android devices and other smaller/slower computing devices and will not be sent to your Nvidia GPUs.
If you want control over it in app_config then us the following:
[pre]
einsteinbinary_BRP4
1
1
[/pre]
No need to use the plan_class tag as it will only run on your iGPU.

In fact I just got a WU that did get validated... perhaps things are improving, Im running Beta apps by the way

Hi guys - Gary sent me -
OK 2 questions:
Does 10.18.15.4279 driver work?
and is this the right syntax to replace app_config or do I need app_config head and tail for it?
einsteinbinary_BRP6
BRP6-Beta-cuda55
0.2
0.33
einsteinbinary_BRP6
BRP6-Beta-opencl-intel_gpu

Any idea?
Could "opencl-intel_gpu-new"
)
Could "opencl-intel_gpu-new" edit resolve this?[Not listed on Applications page]
I did install another intel driver that seemed applicable
I chose 20.19.15.4300 dated 10/1/2015
I'll be trying the plan class edit in app_config
Don't know what else to do but Allow new tasks and see if it Downloads the app
Is there a Tool to configure the Intel Driver ie boost clocks a bit?
The stock tool that comes with the Driver only references Display type things.
Still no luck downloading

Thanks Holmis - I think I

Thanks Holmis - I think I need to select the Arecibo GPU as well - not to confuse things with Parkes and my discrete GPUs -
Could you please confirm the correct syntax in app_config for this app?
Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) v1.34 (opencl-intel_gpu-Beta)
windows_x86_64
I'm referring to the plan_class entry - and propose this:
"brp6-opencl-intel_gpu-Beta" in between the plan_class markers
and followed by the ncpus 1
and ngpus 1 marks(appropriately tagged)
Edit> or do I need to include "v1.34" or "Arecibo" anywhere in the string?
This is what I have in my

This is what I have in my app_config.xml and that worked well when I was using my iGPU along side my Nvidia GPU:

einsteinbinary_BRP6
BRP6-Beta-cuda55
