So, if I understand you, I will have to log in again in 3 months because the cookie will expire. That's nice to know because if I find myself logged out, I might have thought that Einstein threw me out.

Thank you for that information.

How do you folks get those little boxes with all your stats used in your posts? And what's the little box called? (A good one for the glossary that ain't gonna happen, as are the words "client" and "BOINC")

You understood it OK.

You understood it OK. :D

Ive got that box with the data from BoincStats, which is 3rd part site that collects data from projects and sumarize and display it.

To get your "box" you can go to your account (here on Einstein) and you should see that there are several link to statistic sites... Just click BoincStats to see your statistics data page. There you will see that there is at the botton 2 links that refer to dinamic graphics that can be used on the signatures. (A signature is something that is allways added automatically at the end of every post you do.)
Click those links to see what is shown by each one, so you can select which one you like to use. Then copy the URL (the internet address) of the choosen "box", go back to your account and go to the comunity preferences and paste the URL inside the box named signature for message board posts, adding [/img] at the end of the text passed and [img] at the beggining of it.
You should end with something like this in the signature box:

[pre][/pre]
Also, be sure that the checkbox that says Attach signature by default is checked and finally click the update button at the botton of the page and look at the signature preview to see if you did it Ok...

You can find this kind of dinamyc graphics on other statistics pages besides BoincStats, with different data and other designs... just do some exploration of the other statistics page looking for the URLs for the signatures to see if there is some other "box" that you like more...

If something its not clear enough just ask for more details!

What's so funny is that after I took out the first "/" - all of the boxes appeared everywhere. We're going to get hollered at for messing around with the boxes, think?

Many thanks to both/all of you.
