I have changed to a new computer mechine to work on Einstein for a week now, but all of them (about 10) were stop at some point as a result of "Client error" with state in "computing", one of the recent message I got is this:

24/6/2005 23:24:35|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result H1_0896.5__0896.7_0.1_T26_Fin1_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))

I am running SETI at the same time, but all the work works prefecly ok. What is wrong and what can I do??

You have different kind of

You have different kind of "***UNHANDLED EXCEPTION****"-errors in your results.
for ex.
Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x09A32F2B write attempt to address 0x88D5D664

Check your memory with memtest86.
Other things could be heat, overclocking and some folks had problems with the screensaver, so try turn it off to see if that works.

from reading some of the

from reading some of the messages, it seems that the screensaver is causing the problem. i had the same problem and i have since turned off my screensaver and it seems to work fine now. i have an inboard intel video card. hopefully this will get fixed with the next upgrade since there seems to be a few of us that are having this problem. my seti seems to be working fine so it looks like it is a einstein problem and not a boinc problem.

I tried the test and it said they is something wrong in 2 "locations", anyway, the computer is only 1 month old, I don't know what went wrong...

I have tried another approach tried to solve the problem, by detach and re-attach to the project again. Everything seems to have working alright till today I checked my acount info and see that it stopped to work yesterday at what should have be 49 credits with a client error...

Will there be any new version coming up soon, so to fix this problem??

If you mean Memtest gave you

If you mean Memtest gave you 2 errors.
That could mean that the memorymodules are broken.(or a heat problem somewhere)(a Warranty reason?)
If you have two sticks in your box,you could try to run your rig with only one.
WARNING.If you don't know how to handle electronics inside your computer then don't touch it

Have you tried run it without the screensaver yet? (if you ever used it.. ;)

You need to fix the problem, you have bad memory.

It might be OT, but when you say memory, do you mean the RAM?? And what should I do?
The location with problem is 00004bdb520 and 000031e8aca, but I have no clue whatsoever what it meant!!

BTW, I have switch off the screensaver and see how i goes, it seems to be working, but with a very slow speed. Fingers cross.

If "memtest" said there is

If "memtest" said there is something wrong with your memory, it needs to be replaced.

Get the new "memtest86+" and run it. If your RAM has faults, get new RAM.

It works after I switched off

It works after I switched off the screensaver.... finally!!
But it would means that I can't use the lovely screensaver anymore!!! D'oh!
