How do I uninstall BOINC AND ThreadMaster?

It appears either or both killed my computer's install/uninstall ability, and created general havoc otherwise throughout my system. BOINC will not uninstall. A "fatal error" is reported, and nothing more.

ThreadMaster is running now for no good reason (given I'm definitely not BOINC'ing anymore), but I see nothing about uninstalling it anywhere in its Readme file. (And no, I never even got the the point of merging it into Rededit.)

No restore point was created by BOINC or ThreadMaster. My computer no longer works as it did -- without glitches or error messages galore. Now I simply want my [brand new!] computer back. And I'll certainly never do anything like this again! (As is said, "No good deed goes unpunished.")

Uninstalling ThreadMaster & BOINC? (Help, please?)

Update: Clicking on any one of several applications (but not all) now causes the Windows Installer/Uninstaller to be invoked! These are programs that were previously installed and running perfectly until they were "BONKED."

Help, please?

If you have not done so since

If you have not done so since the problem started I would recommend a virus scan. You may want to try the install from safe mode.

From the Threadmaster

From the Threadmaster homepage:

Uninstalling TM
Start a command prompt. (Start->Run, type cmd and hit Enter)
Go to the %windir%\\system32\\ThreadMaster directory (type cd %windir%\\system32\\ThreadMaster and hit Enter)
net stop threadmaster (that's a command, just type it in and hit Enter)
ThreadMast -remove (command)
Delete the folder %windir%\\system32\\ThreadMaster (You can do this from Windows)
Your are done.

BOINC can be uninstalled through Add/Remove programs or by restarting the installer.
