Hi,
I have a problem uploading einstein projects after they have completed. I also have Seti@home and that one is working fine. This started to happen when I upgraded to Boinc 5.10.28... I have one project that will not upload and the report deadline date is getting close
I have two Computers networked, the problem stems from the networked computer. I have no problems at all with the host PC, which is running Boinc 5.10.20.
I have checked the sched_reply_einstein.phys.uwm.edu file in the networked computer and find the following message

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Program Files/BOINC/sched_reply_einstein....

not sure how to correct this error unless I need to re install Boinc again...

Hope that you can help

Hi!

The message you quote is not a problem with the file per se, it's an error message of (likely) internet Explorer or any other program you are using to opeden the xml file in question. If you open it using wordpad, you'll be able to see the contents of that file.

But anyway, I'm not quite getting how your PCs are connected to the internet and/or to each other. I guess one is connected directly to the internet and is also acting as a router to a second PC that is connected to that PC?

Anyway, it might be helpful if you switch BOINC manager to "Advanced view" and tell us what are the last few messages displayed on the Message tab of the Boinc Manager. There should be a message telling us what exactly went wrong.

Can you access the Einstein@Home Homepage (or this forum) via a web browser on the PC that is unable to upload results?
