Yes, this is under the control of your OS and not BOINC or E@H. Your computers are hidden so we can't see what OS you are using but from your join date I would guess Windows XP?

I do not want it to come on when I leave my computer for a few minutes.
If you are using XP, just right click your desktop ->properties ->screen saver and you will see a page that gives you full control over which screen saver (if any) you wish to run and how often (if ever) you wish it to fire up. Just set your preferences there. If you want to eliminate any BOINC related screen saver in the first place, that is an option you can choose during the installation of BOINC itself.
I can't help noticing that you joined the project when it first started back in Feb 2005 and you have never returned a completed task - unless perhaps you have a separate ID under which your crunching history has been recorded. Would you like some assistance in getting started?
Hi,
Ok I found it Oh I was useing Linux when I registered. I still have that computer but never got it to work with Einstein. I am now useing Windows 7. I should have added that. But it is under screensavers I just saw that the icon showed no screensaver but I clicked on it and it came up as Bionic Thanks for the help.
Your original message mentioned that you did not want it coming up when you left your computer for a few minutes. You can also set the time before your chosen screen saver starts in the screensaver properties box.
turn screensaver off
)
Turn it off in your Operating System.
e.g. in Windows, desktop properties->screen saver->instead of BOINC choose None->Apply->OK.
