Getting sleepy. Hope it works out better than last night.

I have a Sleep Number bed and it tracks how I sleep and right now, just got it working this past week, I'm in the mid 80's for my average. I had a high of 91 and a low of 70 something, so some nights i sleep very well and some nights not so well, seems to relate to how tired I am I think with the more tired being the better I sleep. Better being less tossing and turning.

That sounds quite obvious.

That sounds quite obvious. When you are not tired and just drank a load of coffee is rather hard to sleep, while being extremely tired and having taken a sleeping pill, then it's not going to be difficult to sleep.

I guess I won't need a machine to tell me that.

I find that taking a 600 mg dose of Ibuprofen about 1/2 hour before bed does wonders for blunting the day's aches and pains, and creaking joints of getting up in years so I can fall asleep quicker...no sleeping pill required.

Neither do I, that is no pills for me. Although it does take me like 30 minutes to fall asleep.

I did the same thing for a long time but have changed to a Tylenol PM, it adds a bit of a non rx sleeping aide to it and the other day my bed said I was asleep in 3 minutes. Yes my bed keeps track of that kind of stuff, it tracks my heart rate no notice though if it stops, my breathing and whether I am actually asleep or being restless and tossing and turning.

Does it tell you how many times you pass wind or have naughty dreams as well?? Where does it report too? So if you die in your sleep does it tell anyone? I'd rather sleep on the settee than in one of them, sounds more like one of Bones couches in the Enterprise sick bay, but without nurse Chapel.

Why do doctors have to practice?

Hi Chris.

So that last post didn't win, huh,  Oh well, I tried.

In the mean time, I love sleeping.  Especially when I'm pain free.
