Along comes an increased amount of work to take down everything that's been uploaded by people that do not have the right to publish those pictures. Then again, $400 is way too much to ask of small users. I can understand that you ask such an amount if you host many images that get viewed a whole lot, though I doubt your images draw so much traffic.
My browser does not have a "view image" option under the right-click. I did "open image in a new tab" and it took me to the photobucket page, but I still just got the upgrade thing. And ads. Lots and lots of intrusive ads.
$400 a year??? My way is cheaper: sign up for a domain and web hosting, then upload whatever I want there.
