then again I wonder how they would make money. I only see an image, no adds or whatever, so the only person they can show adds is the person posting an image. How can that be enough to fund their entire operation? Selling user IP addresses and browser information?

Along comes an increased amount of work to take down everything that's been uploaded by people that do not have the right to publish those pictures. Then again, $400 is way too much to ask of small users. I can understand that you ask such an amount if you host many images that get viewed a whole lot, though I doubt your images draw so much traffic.

My browser does not have a "view image" option under the right-click. I did "open image in a new tab" and it took me to the photobucket page, but I still just got the upgrade thing. And ads. Lots and lots of intrusive ads.

$400 a year??? My way is cheaper: sign up for a domain and web hosting, then upload whatever I want there.

You forgot the force refresh

You forgot the force refresh there David. Your browser holds the cached version of the image you got on this forum, the force refresh throws that cache away.

I use Opera, but that did indeed work. Thanks for helping me win!
