Woke up to a carpet os snow and it is still coming down.
My own heat wave didn't make it but I do NOT have any snow!! It got into the low 70's the other day and for the next few days too, then it ill get cooler because of some rain coming my way for a couple of days or so. Nothing special with the rain, just enough to not be sunny outside, some golfers will try to play but all the good courses will not let them due to the mess they can make if it gets too wet. I'm near Myrtle Beach, SC and ALOT of people come here year round to play golf , with all the different courses around here there is always at least a few open.
I no longer own a dry coat or shoes, so... *launch British weather bomb at Mikey's feet* ...you'll need to watch those toes of yours, Mikey ... assuming there are toes under that lot? Or feet even... because my own hair has been oscillating between very damp... and sodden... since Thursday morning :/
;)
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

It's sunny and 40F here. It's going to rain tomorrow though. It's ok. I like rainy days too. Kavanagh, I'll take your snowy day. I love snowy days.
I much prefer Sunny days but it will be partly rainy Wednesday for me too, not a full on storm but brief periods of rain here and there.
Annie now you know WHY the Colonists left England, waaaaay too rainy every day!! I lived in Scotland for a year and it rained 99% of the days I was there, not all day at least not most of the time, but if we didn't get some rain every day it was a cause for a celebration!! I was MUCH younger 45 years ago and we celebrated ALOT with pints of Heavy when we celebrated!!!
Congratulations on your win, Kavanagh, and belated ones to Kathryn for the one before it. Presently, I can lay no claim to the podium however, so I will leave that to those more skilled than I. :-)
And the winner is Sir Rodney, This is because he comes from warmer climes. However I do remember snow in the nearby hills to Gib in the early '50s along with seeing my dad get a medal for fighting in Korea by the new queen on the royal yacht.
