Greetings from western New York (Rochester area) where it is currently snowing and we expect up to 18" the last I heard.
Just got my email this morning. Downloaded the source for 4.16 and compiled it on my Linux system with the optimizations. It's crunching away on an EAH WU now. I mostly do PAH with a bit of the other projects (SAH, CPDN, LHC) in there at low shares.
If you run Linux, consider compiling your own core client or picking a precompiled one up from a couple of places on the net that have them. Your WUs won't run any faster, but the benchmarks will be much higher and therefore claimed credit will go up. Mine just about doubled.
greetings from vienna, austria.
i just got my mail today and signed up immediately. i installed 4.16 and received 6 wus that will take approximately 5h50. Let's see if I can crunch them all away in the deadline - i fear it might be too narrow.
