Greetings from Italy.
I just got here, but my impressions so far is that this is the best organized, most stable (i.e. with little or no downtime and/or technical problems), best supported (i.e. Prof. Allen and his staff monitor this forum, and promptly answer any technical question), and overall "cool" BOINC project ever!
Greetings from 1 member of our group from west-Michigan, USA. :)
As Vice-President of our local group I'm leading the charge forward in this project for our members. Usually known as "networkman" in the S@H & CPDN projects, I've decided to bring the fleet online to this project for a while.
While extremely leery of BOINC at the start, I do like the fact that it supports SMP systems without having to create extra directories or tweak the client something fierce. As such, I've brought (12) systems online with more to come.. all from my place. :D The Dual p3-1GHz and the Quad Xeon p3-500 both had zero problems with the install, the client saw all the processors and they're crunching away contentedly. I look forward to adding the a pair of Dual p4-Xeons in the coming weeks.

Thank you! Though we're still struggling a bit to fix things behind the scenes.
Greetings from me as well, I just joined. As you can see from my sig, I'm on SETI Synergy, and I hope to contribute a little bit to this interesting project.
Howdy everybody from The University of TEXAS at Austin! I remember reading about LIGO years ago in Scientific American and thinking what a cool project and now, I get to participate in some tiny way to learning about gravity waves. Very cool!
The geek in me is very satisfied indeed! Glad to be here!
Hello Byron, Sir Ulli, Slavko.sk, Uli, mmciastro, Heffed, John McLeod VII and all the others.
After a certain (long) waiting time, happy to be here too.
Got the invitation after being away from home for 2 days. Unfortunately, I will leave home once again next Sunday for a whole week. Anyway, my PC will stay connected and crunching 24/7.
I'm really curious to see after that week what will have happened.

Welcome, my friend.
Here's what will happen on your time off.
Two seconds after you lock the door, there will be a freak power outage lasting 5 hours. When you get home you be seeing the "log on" screen on all your puters. lol
I'm finally here! Thanks to Bruce and all the fine folks at E@H. Trying to allocate enough computer time to all the projects; Seti and Einstein get the most. Greetings to everyone.
Let's crunch.

Just wanted to say hello all & thanks for this meaty & worthwhile project.
I ran the BOINC beta for a while and the client seems very solid now; and no problems at all with E@H.
Kudos to the team. :)
