EDITS: I FOUND I HAVE TWO DIFFERENT USER-URL IDs ON THE SERVER(S) BUT UNDER THE SAME ACCOUNT NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS: 152145 & 152052. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MERGE THESE WITHOUT LOSING MY CREDITS? IF YOU CAN'T MERGE THEM THEN PLEASE KEEP THE ONE WITH THE CREDITS, WHICH IS 152052. IT APPEARS THAT 152145 IS THE EINSTEIN LOGON ACCOUNT AND 152052 WAS PROBABLY CREATED BY BOINC, YET THEY BOTH ACCESS THE SAME USER NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE ASPECTS OF THE 152145 ACCOUNT THAT BOINC CANNOT ACCESS (SEE PROBLEM BELOW). THANK YOU.

My Einstein@home account "on" BOINC is displaying a problem. While in the BOINC Manager if I click on Account Summary everything is displayed, credits and all, except it shows I do not belong to a team. If I click on Your Account, it shows my account, NO credit displayed, and shows the team I signed up with. If I click on Your Results, I get Unable to Handle Request from the Boinc or Einstein server. If I look at the Team statistics, my account is not listed. While in the BOINC Manager under Projects, my team is not displayed next to the Einstein Project name. I can duplicate TWO different account Summary views from the server depending on how I get there !!!! I have the bitmaps to prove it!

There is clearly a problem with my account. I am running Boinc V5.2.7 (MS Windows), but it appears there are problems with the account configuration beyond my BOINC version.

Usually people advise just to abandon the account with fewer credits. But since the one you're posting from doesn't have any credits, don't worry about it. Log out and try to log back in with the correct account. You may need to request the account key if you can't get into with your email and password.

Apparently this is, like many unfunded projects, a No One At Home system. You had it right the first time, meaning my logon account has no credits but my Boinc attachment does. So, with some well-meant expletives I did the deed and lost my credits. A true BUMMER.

I guess I don't understand. Change the email on the unwanted account to something else (create an account on hotmail or something) and then log onto the site using the account name with credits.

The BOINC attached account

Message 44117 in response to message 44116

The BOINC attached account (152052) had no user logon, but was using the same username as the logon account (152145), and because I couldn't delete the current logon account (152145) and only Detach from Boinc Manager, that's what I did - Detach, then reattach, and so naturally it attached to the existing logon account (152145) which had no credits. It's too bad I didn't figure this out alot sooner because I lost over 3300 credits in 152052.
