New to Einstein and just learning the ropes. I attached and downloaded 4 WUs. I then set BOINC to no new tasks. I completed the 4 tasks but my account shows 5 more in progress that are not in cache and didn't download that I know of. What happened?

Tasks shown as in progress are not in cache

On page All tasks for computer 4842583, I can only see four completed tasks. Where do you see more?

If I look at your link it

If I look at your link it shows only the 4 completed. If I log in and look at my tasks it shows the 4 completed and 5 more in progress.
Maybe you can't see what I'm seeing because you can't see that account as the logged in owner. They show in this link when I look at it.

When I get home from work I'll post a screen shot.

Indeed, I found five more

Indeed, I found five more tasks after showing all your computers. I suppose the two surplus hosts are incarnations of your single host from earlier attempts to connect to the project, since their creation times all are around 6 Mar 2012 22:19:30 UTC.

If my suspicion is correct, you could try to merge the three entries into one and such recover the "lost" five work units before they expire. There ahould be a "Merge" link on the details page of your computer.

Gruß,
Gundolf
[edit]If you look at the "Results" display with the nine entries, you'll see different IDs listed in the "Computer" column.[/edit]

I did have problems when I

I did have problems when I initially tried to connect to the project. I don't remember what happened but I've mergerd the installations and I'll update the BOINC manger when I get home and if the tasks are there I'll resume them. Thanks for the help. Learned something new.

When I updated the missing

When I updated the missing tasks were downloaded and are now progressing. I'm curious as to what would be the normal run time for these tasks on a GTX 460 @ stock settings?
