Tasks from BRP4_1.70 in windows 11 remain after closing BOINC and keep wasting resources. So far it has always been 2 tasks, I have no scenario for this happening. I'm running a laptop (with Intel integrated ARC GPU in 155H) and just the GPU is crunching. When I shut it down 2 tasks remain, completely unkillable or suspendable or restartable through Process Hacker task manager and it keeps wasting my resources, running the GPU anywhere from 20% to 100%

Does anyone know what the hell is going on and how can I stop them from creating/remaining once I want to suspend work?

Try opening Boinc Manager from your taskbar, chose exit Boinc and be sure to check:

Stop running tasks when exiting the BOINC Manager
